Web beacons

Web beacons are tiny images that we may place on our web pages or emails. They can be used, for example, to obtain, anonymously, the number of times a particular page has been visited by an Internet user or whether an email has been elected. As their name implies, pixels are pixel tags and any part of our Site, including the advertisements displayed on it, may contain pixel tags. Unlike cookies, web beacons are not placed on your computer.

Cookies

Cookies are small data files that are commonly stored on your device when using websites and online services. They are used for the efficient operation of websites and can provide information and help personalize services. Bomure Inc collects information provided by cookies. Bomure Inc uses different types of cookies (collectively referred to here as cookies).

Necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for the operation of our Site and our online store. For example, we may use this type of cookie to authenticate and identify you when you are connected to our Site to provide you with our services. These cookies also allow us to enforce our Terms of Service, prevent fraud and ensure the security of our services.

Performance and functionality cookies

These cookies are not essential to the provision of our services. They make it easy to personalize and improve the user experience. For example, they can remember your preferences and prevent you from re-entering information more than once. They allow us to understand your behavior to improve our Sites.

 Cookies for advertising purposes

These cookies are not essential to the provision of our services. They use information relating to the visit to our Sites, such as pages viewed or response to advertisements, to help provide the best user experience for your situation. The length of time a cookie is stored on your computer or mobile device depends on whether it is a "persistent" or "session" cookie. Session cookies last until you stop browsing and persistent cookies last until they expire or are deleted. Most of the cookies we use are persistent and have an expiry period varying from 30 minutes to two years from the date they are downloaded to your device. Please note that the use of cookies only identifies you as a user and does not recognize you by name or address.

Disabling cookies

It is possible to prevent the personalization functions of our Site from disabling cookies on your browser. More information on how to change your browser settings or block, manage or filter cookies can be found in your browser's help file or on websites such as http://www.allaboutcookies.org /.

Do other sites have access to cookies when you browse our Sites?

We sometimes use third party service providers. Indeed, when you access our Site, directly or through an advertisement that redirects you there, a cookie file is automatically created on your computer or mobile device. At this time, a web analytics tool (for example, Google Analytics) and possibly external ad servers have access to this cookie, which allows us to provide you with a better experience on our Site or, in some cases, to track your activity to promote some of our products and services. Although a code in the cookie file identifies you as a user, it does not recognize you by name or address. Our service providers may also need to collect your IP address or mobile device ID when you visit a site. This information could be transmitted and stored on servers located in Canada or elsewhere, for example in the United States. Bomure does not combine any information collected by these third parties with any information we have about you. Be aware, however, that some providers may be called upon to communicate the data collected to third parties in the event of a legal obligation or if they wish to entrust the processing of certain data to third parties. No information that would allow these suppliers to identify you is transmitted to them. Please note that third party service providers have their own cookies and privacy policies.

Use of Google Analytics

Bomure uses Google Analytics, which is provided by Google Inc. (Google), in order to analyze the browsing behavior of visitors to its Site, which is a tool for analyzing the frequentation and use of websites. The information collected by Google Analytics is used to analyze the use of our Site and to produce statistical reports on the activities of visitors. You can get more information about Google Analytics here.

Bomure Inc. does not communicate any information allowing advertising companies to identify you. Please note that our advertising partners and other third parties may also set cookies or web beacons when you click on their advertisements or links to their websites or services on our Sites. This Privacy Policy does not apply to third party websites or third party advertising providers. You can deactivate Google Analytics while browsing by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser or computer tool, as well as the ads settings. You can opt out of sharing your information with these third parties by installing an opt-out add-on to opt out of receiving interest-based ads. Additionally, you may opt out of some of these services by visiting the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out portal at http://optout.aboutads.info/. Bomure Inc also uses Facebook's Custom Audience feature to target advertising related to the interests of its current and potential customers. We invite you to check your Facebook privacy settings if you want to manage your advertising settings. You can get more information here. Please note that even if you choose not to receive advertisements targeted to your interests, you will still be able to see advertisements from Bomure Inc. In this case, these advertisements will simply not be adapted to your real needs and may be displayed more frequently. For more information on how targeted advertising works, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative's ("NAI") educational page at: http://www.networkadvertising.org/understanding-online-advertising/ how-does-it-work.

Social Media Features

Our services include social media features like the Pinterest, Instagram or Facebook share button or interactive mini-programs that run on our Sites. If you use these features, they collect your IP address, the page you are visiting on our Sites and create a cookie to enable these features to function properly.
